Lovely tea room, good food.

Not sure if I would go back here. The food was good but the service wasnt. I had a panini which should of come with crisps however it came with tortilla chips. Im not a fan of these but ate them however my husband is allergic to them so he couldnt eat them. It would of been better if the waitress had said there were no crisps but she didnt say anything. During our meal they started to put the cakes away. It was only 3.20pm and they didnt close until 5pm. So when I asked if I could have one of the traybakes that they had taken away the waitress went and asked but came back saying there was none left even though I had just seen them going through to the kitchen and none had gone out to the few customers in the tearoom.??? The service was very slow. Slow to take the order and slow to bring out the drinks and very slow to bring my husbands second course. (He had the 2 course special)However the most annoying thing was the radios. They had one on in the tearoom plus the chefs had one on in the kitchen on a different station. It was very distracting listening to 2 different radio channels. Since we were the only customers there I asked the waitress if they could possible turn one of the radios down or off. She went through to the kitchen and told them but unfortunately the 2 radio channels remained on. I am not sure if I would go back here which is a shame as the food was really good and the views were amazing.

Easy loading and friendly staff

I went out for lunch with my Mother and came across this beautiful Tearoom where there are 4 dining areas. 2 are outside with out standing views especially on the day like today, both areas are dog friendly and also two indoor rooms where if to hot outside you still get the stunning views but cooler.I had the Yorkshire Ham, Mature Cheese and pickle and my Mother had the open sandwich with smoked Salmon with Dill Mayonnaise both had a light and refreshing dressed salad which added to the flavour. I can heartily recommend this place for a light lunch. Only remembering it is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Really nice, peaceful and warm place. The food is quite good mostly, the scotch broth soup.
